We will look at:
- What legal forms social enterprises use.
- What financing methods are available for them – loans; shares; royality agreements; revenue participation agreements
- What tax reliefs are available to incentivise investors in social enterprises including enterprise investment scheme; community development finance initiative; charitable donations

Objectives

An understanding of the basics of how to fund a social enterprise using a mixture of loans; grants; equity and which horse is right for which course.
