Description
Pie Finance is a new online portal that enables you to raise start-up capital of people, money and things for your social enterprise.
Two SHINE participants will be bringing their propositions to the session to illustrate live how Pie’s crowd-sourcing portal works and how you can use it to get the capital you need.
The session host, Senake Atureliya, is founder of Pie Finance. As a child in Zambia, Senake got his first taste of social enterprise - his father headed up the National Housing Authority. Senake’s first company produced bespoke machinery to make ‘Lasagne, sweeties and plumbing parts amongst other things’! He now runs a business model innovation and business systems consultancy that has supplied cutting edge solutions to companies in a variety of industries throughout Europe.
