Let’s make a School for Young Social Entrepreneurs

  • When: 3:30pm - 5:30pm
  • Where: Lobby

Description

We need some bright sparks and energy to make the first school for young social entrepreneurs for 16-19 year olds who are not in employment, education and training.  We want to pilot this in Milton Keynes, where there are lots of young people and a rapid-growth plan, starting January 2009.  We won’t get far without hearing the most articulate critics of the idea.  Please be one and join us.

Objectives

Hear the idea, criticise it as much as you can, imagine you were a potential investor and say why you would or wouldn’t go for it.  Be ready to become part of a think tank that will make this pilot happen under the best possible conditions so we can say in 18 months if it was a good idea or not.

Any preperation?

Yup, come with questions based on the basic idea plus good ears and good humour.  Be ready to say how you will help make it happen (we have no money yet) and/or put us in touch with others we should talk to.
