The Government has recognised the power of social enterprise and pledged its full support - yet the gap between their rhetoric and the reality on the ground seems to grow ever greater. Do you believe in lobbying to change this? Do you want to learn more about what government is already doing for social enterprise and what it could still do? Are you too busy running your business to get directly involved but want to know who can lobby for you? If so, come along and shape, share and learn with Ceri Jones and Daniel Shah from the Social Enterprise Coalition.

Objectives

Learn about the wider policy context that affects your social enterprise, how we got here and what can be done to shape it, now and in the future. Have an open conversation about what would make a difference to you and play a dating game to match up social enterprise needs and what the government can do to help.
