Description

Get Yourself Connected – the Young Foundation is a centre for social innovation based in East London - combining practical projects, the creation of new enterprises, research and publishing.  Working with government and understanding how power works is hugely important if you want to get things done.  The Young Foundation builds on the legacy of social entrepreneur Michael Young, famous for creating organisations like Open University and Language Line in response to social needs.

The Young Foundation is a stimulator of research and social projects, including Launchpad (including Health Launchpad) which works on early stage social venture fund to help launch new social enterprise ideas.

Come and hear more about the Young Foundations work and how to get access to the networks and systems to help you get your idea off the ground.

Find out more about UpRising, a recently launched mentoring project which will identify and develop the talents of a new generation of public leaders – could this be you?  Learn about the Young Foundation’s micro projects which grew up to be adopted as national government policy.  Hear about Muslaha, a new project designed to support young Muslims and to promote understanding between Muslim and non-Muslims.
