Come and grill Joe and Melissa on CSR. Is there too much bandwagon jumping, or is CSR driven by well meaning professionals who have a real desire to contribute to environmental and social sustainability whether it be through their companies, or in partnership with companies.

Joe Griffin is director of blackbird, an organisation that provides pragmatic, meaningful advice to businesses on Corporate Responsibility. He works with Endemol, Nickelodeon and other large media organisations, and in the travel sector advising Tusk and The Ultimate Travel Company.

Melissa set up Truebranding in 2005, advising companies on corporate responsibility (CR) strategy and implementation.  Her clients have included TNT’s North Star Foundation, KPMG Global Sustainability Services and Nike Europe. Melissa is author of ‘More than a name: an introduction to branding’ and regularly writes for http://www.brandchannel.com.
